Estimator Construction (Roof Plumbing)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator - Construction (Roof Plumbing) to join our team at Total Comfort Plumbing Services Pty Ltd in North Geelong, VIC. This full-time role will be responsible for providing accurate quotations and estimates for our roof plumbing construction projects. Experience is preferred, but not essential, training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

1. Reviewing construction plans and specifications to determine material and labour requirements

2. Calculating quantities and costs for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors

3. Preparing detailed estimates and quotations for roof plumbing work

4. Collaborating with the project management team to ensure accurate estimates

5. Monitoring project costs and identifying potential cost savings

6. Providing support and advice to the sales team on pricing and feasibility

7. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and new technologies

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years' experience as an Estimator in the construction or plumbing industry

2. Strong understanding of roof plumbing systems, materials, and installation processes

3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications

4. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to perform accurate cost calculations

5. Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

6. Ability to work collaboratively with the project management and sales teams

7. Excellent communication and customer service skills

8. Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
