About the role
The Senior Interior Designer is a design leader responsible for delivering exceptional interior architecture and design outcomes across projects of varying scale and complexity.
This role combines creative design leadership, exceptional Revit and documentation skills, technical excellence, a sharp eye for detail and commercial awareness to lead projects through all phases, from concept design and documentation through to construction and completion. You'll provide leadership to project teams, mentor emerging designers, and contribute to the ongoing growth of ARM's interior design practice.
Beyond project delivery, the role plays an active part in business development, client relationships, studio operations, strategic initiatives and the promotion of ARM's design culture.

Reporting line: Project Lead, Principal or Director as appropriate
Key Responsibilities
Lead interior design projects through all phases, from concept to completion
Establish and maintain project vision, design quality and technical excellence
Manage project budgets, programs, resources and risk across multiple projects at once
Lead Revit modelling and documentation, ensuring accuracy, coordination and buildability
Run design workshops, client presentations and design reviews
Coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers
Contribute to proposals, fee submissions and competition/capability submissions
Mentor and develop project teams, supporting their design and technical growth
Foster collaboration across disciplines and offices, and contribute to recruitment where required
Drive innovation and consistency in quality, standards and best practice across the practice
About You
Bachelor of Design (Interior Design), Master of Architecture, or equivalent qualification
7–10+ years of relevant industry experience in interior architecture and design, with demonstrated experience delivering complex projects through all stages
Exceptional Revit capability, with extensive experience producing, coordinating and reviewing high-quality design and construction documentation
Demonstrated experience leading interior design projects and multidisciplinary project teams
Relevant professional registration or industry affiliation is desirable
