The Opportunity:  

We are looking for an HR Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of HR processes and services. Working closely with the HR team, the role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, performance processes, learning and development, employee movements, and offboarding activities. The position also contributes to a range of HR initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement activities, helping to enhance employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

In this role, you will:  

• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new employees have a positive and seamless commencement experience
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, letters, employment documentation and personnel files
• Ensure employee records are maintained accurately and confidentially within HR systems and databases
• Process employee changes and update records in a timely manner
• Assist with HR reporting, metrics and workforce data analysis to support business decision making
• Act as a first point of contract for HR-related enquiries, providing accurate and timely information to employees and managers
• Maintain HR templates, forms, policies and procedures
• Assist with the coordination of annual processes including performance reviews, remuneration reviews, promotion cycles, engagement surveys and annual reporting
• Support the payroll team by ensuring staff have completed all relevant paperwork accurately
• Coordinate L&D activities including organising training sessions, recording attendance, assisting with the preparation of training materials and any other tasks as required
• Coordinate end to end offboarding activities, ensuring employee departures are managed efficiently, professionally and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
• Assist with the yearly intake of engineering interns and graduates 
• Assist with HR projects as required
• Assist with recruitment administration as required
• Provide any additional administrative support to the HR team as required

Who are we looking for?  

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a relevant discipline
• General understanding of employment law, modern awards and employment contracts
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook
• Effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and senior management
• High level of professional integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
