Chef/Cook

We are looking for an experienced Chef or Cook to work with us at Templestowe Hotel

Working closely with our Head Chef and Management team, you will have the opportunity to shape a dynamic culture for the venue and its team in line with strategic plans.

You will be responsible for driving the performance of your venue through achieving budgets and implementing plans in line with the business objectives and taking the venue to the next level.

Your responsibilities,

• Assisting in the creation and costing of menus

• Preparation and cooking of food

• Assisting in the organisation and coordination of operations to ensure maximum efficiency

• Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality

• Handle customer feedback when necessary

• Maintaining Food Safety and OH&S compliance

• Meeting monthly budget targets

• Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards

• Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently

• Assisting the Head Chef with the management of the food operation including fully costed menus and stock control

• Ensuring the smooth daily operations of the venue facilities
