About the Role

Working on a flexible rotating roster, you'll initially provide high-quality, patient-centred care within the General Ward before having the opportunity to expand your practice into other clinical areas, including:

• Emergency Department – Triage, resuscitation, acute care and outpatient services (minimum Year 2 RN).

• Perioperative Services – Theatre, Anaesthetics, PACU and Day Surgery.

• Renal Unit – Haemodialysis day services.

• Infusion Unit – Delivering specialised therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and iron infusions.

You'll work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care while developing confidence across a variety of clinical settings. Your transition into each specialty is supported through comprehensive orientation, supernumerary shifts, ongoing education, mentorship and regular professional development opportunities, giving you the confidence to build new skills throughout your career.

 
About You

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to continue learning and developing.

You will have:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

• Recent experience within an acute care setting. A willingness to develop skills across multiple clinical specialties within a rural hospital.

• Emergency nursing experience and current ALS certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly regarded.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A positive, adaptable and patient-focused approach to care.

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, holistic healthcare.

Previous experience in Perioperative Services, Renal or Infusion Nursing is desirable but not essential.

• Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
