About the role
Position Summary
The Teaching Support Officer provides day-to-day operational and administrative support for postgraduate coursework teaching across UNSW Medicine & Health. The role supports the effective delivery of teaching activities across the academic lifecycle, including term planning, timetabling, class management, learning management systems, assessments and examinations, results processing, enrolments, academic casual engagement and the coordination of teaching resources and materials.
At Level 5, the role provides high-quality service to students, academics and other stakeholders, coordinating teaching support activities in accordance with University policies and processes and contributing to continuous improvement across the Faculty.
At Level 6, the role takes on greater responsibility for the oversight and coordination of complex teaching support processes, provides advice on relevant policies and procedures, works across multiple teams and administrative units, and identifies and implements opportunities to improve and streamline service delivery.
