Specialised Carer - Residential Care

HammondCare Darlinghurst is currently looking for Permanent Part time and Casual Specialised Carer – RESIDENTIAL Carers to join our team.

Rosters available offer work-life balance with early afternoon finish times, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team:

Tuesday to Friday 6:45am - 2:45pm; 60 hour fortnightMonday to Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm; 50 hour fortnight

Please note: Rosters available may not suit student visa due to hour restrictions. Unlimited work rights will be highly regarded.

With our unique model of care which places the residents’ needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. This role requires you to provide tailored care including personal support within the residential home.

You Will Be Responsible For

Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etcProvide life engagementSupport residents with levels of dementia residents within your skills and competenciesRecognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of

All new staff will complete an onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Managers on site.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will

Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & want to make a difference in their livesBe flexible and able to commit to a range of rosters isted aboveValue teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiativeHave knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needsApplicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
