Tradesman Plumber

Watertight Plumbing & Drainage Pty Ltd are seeking a qualified tradesman for the position of Commercial Plumber.

We are specialists in Commercial Plumbing.  Our business is based in Western Sydney.   We service commercial projects across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW.

Our reputation for high quality work and exceptional OH&S rating has resulted in continuous growth, and the need for highly skilled resources. 

This position is full time permanent.  Time commitment is 6:30am to 3pm Monday to Friday plus overtime as required.

Responsibilities Include:

Project Operations

• Reporting to Director & 2IC

• Carry out plumbing duties as required

• Perform reactive repairs & cyclical maintenance

• Record measurements & calculations

• Troubleshoot & resolve working problems

• Install copper and PEX services

• Install sewer & stormwater services

• Order & coordinate materials

• Read plans & set out work

• Liaise with clients, suppliers & builders

• Supervise contractors and apprentices

• Maintain clean job site & work vehicle

General Requirements

• Deliver services in line with policies & procedures

• Comply with relevant health & safety regulations

• Ensure services are delivered to performance targets

• Cultivate strong working relationships

• Maintain outstanding customer service

Skills & Qualifications Required 

• Plumbing trade qualification 

• Commercial plumbing experience > 3 years

• Australian drivers licence

• Australian permanent work rights

• Solid understanding of construction programs

• Ability to read and understand commercial construction plans

• Confidence in operating excavators & other machinery- not essential

• Strong work ethic & dedication 

• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team 

• Discipline, organisation & time management 

• Customer service expertise
