The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Research & Development (R&D) team in Rosehill, NSW.

Reporting to the Manager, Technology Development, you’ll support the delivery of engineering projects contributing to the design, fabrication and commissioning of experimental equipment while working alongside experienced engineers and scientists.

This is a hands-on opportunity to build foundational engineering capability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$95,000 + super.

What You’ll Do

Develop mechanical concepts and engineering solutions to support research challengesAssist with the design, build, testing and commissioning of experimental units and equipmentSupport the planning and execution of trials on experimental linesCollaborate with engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers and vendorsPrepare commissioning plans and validate equipment performanceTrack and report on project progress to key stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for innovation by staying across emerging technologiesWork safely and contribute to our Zero Harm culture

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems from first principlesHands-on approach with an interest in prototyping and testingAbility to develop and interpret mechanical designsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering/design tools
