About the role
About The Role
Angels Care is a registered NDIS provider seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team across Western Sydney. We support people with a range of disabilities to live the lives they choose — from personal care at home to community participation and life skills development.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will work directly with NDIS participants, building genuine, trusting relationships while supporting them to achieve the goals outlined in their NDIS plans. You will be guided by our experienced coordination team and have access to ongoing training and supervision.
This is a casual position with the opportunity to build regular shifts. We are looking for people who are reliable, caring, and committed to delivering support that is respectful, person-centred, and aligned with the NDIS Practice Standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and dressing Support community access, social participation, and recreational activities Assist with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and household management Implement participant support plans accurately and consistently Maintain clear, accurate progress notes and incident reports in line with NDIS requirements Liaise professionally with participants, families, and the coordination team Adhere to all Angels Care policies, NDIS Code of Conduct, and safeguarding obligations
Required Qualifications & Checks
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement) NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid & CPR certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent) Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle Smartphone capable of using digital rostering and reporting tools Right to work in Australia
Preferred Skills & Experience
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent Previous experience supporting people with disability, mental health, or complex needs Experience working within an NDIS-registered provider Bilingual skills — particularly Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or other community languages
