ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor / Foreman on behalf of a respected civil contractor delivering major early works projects throughout Western Sydney.
📍 Location: Girraween NSW
💰 Salary: Up to 150k (dependent on experience)
🏗️ Sector: Civil Construction | Early Works | Earthworks | Shoring
⏰ Position: Full-Time Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a strong background in excavation, earthworks, and shoring works to join a growing project team with a strong pipeline of upcoming work.
Working closely with Project Managers and senior leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and trades
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
• Monitor progress against schedules and report any issues Manage on-site resources, equipment, and materials
• Assist in planning and execution of works, including risk assessments
• Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

ABOUT YOU:

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman in civil construction Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and procedures
• High-level communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Competent in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Relevant trade or construction qualification preferred
• Current drivers licence and own transport
