About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join our high preforming Select Plant Australia team based out of Malaga, WA.

The purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end process for the hire contract. This involves building and maintaining a strong and lasting relationship with our customers, fostering strong working partnership to enable repeat business. Additionally, understanding customer requirements and converting opportunities in a timely manner to ensure a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Management of Customer hire requests from quote to delivery to off hire.
• Address all customer queries in a timely and effective manner
• Leverage existing customers relationships to identify areas of potential growth or opportunity
• Reconcile Customer invoicing
• Visit Customers with Business Development Managers to build relationships
• Working with Internal stakeholders to deliver desired outcomes for Select and our Customers.

About you

• 5 years experience preferred in a related role (e.g. plant hire, dispatch, commercial, construction, logistics, asset management)
• A good working knowledge of the construction and plant hire industries
• Excellent alpha/numerical data entry skills
• Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Office Suite – Excel & Outlook
