Accounts & Finance Xero Unicorn

Boutique Kitchens is a leading Brisbane-based joinery manufacturer delivering high-quality commercial and residential projects across South East Queensland where Builders make up the majority of our customers.

We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Accounts & Finance allrounder to take ownership of our finance function and help drive accountability, structure and continuous improvement across the business.

This is more than a transactional role. You’ll work closely with leadership and operational teams to keep the business running smoothly and performing at its best.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You’ll own the end-to-end finance function, including:

• Xero + innergy.com are our systems

• Accounts payable, receivable, payroll and reconciliations

• Managing multi-entity (multi‑ABN) financial processes

• Monthly reporting, job costing, and cashflow visibility

• BAS, PAYG, Super, WorkCover, Payroll Tax & compliance

• Supporting project managers with claims, approvals, and cost control

• Credit applications, contract inputs, and customer invoicing

• Driving systems, automation, and process improvements

• Supporting and holding teams accountable to financial processes

• Currently all the above is done in-house and we are open to working with someone who has experience to systemise and manage the data entry being done by AI &/or off-shore.

What We’re Looking For

You’re an experienced finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment:

• Manufacturing / Builbing Trade Business Accounts / Fiannce background

• Strong allrounder background across AP, AR, payroll and reporting

• Experience working across multiple entities / group structures

• High attention to detail - you care about getting it right

• Confident communicator who can work across teams and push for outcomes

• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and stay organised under pressure

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments (highly regarded)

• Systems-minded - always looking for better ways to do things

No degree required — experience and capability matter most.
