We’re a busy, family-run workshop in Salisbury that takes pride in doing things right — honest work, quality repairs, and great service. At Misch’s Mechanical, we look after everything from general servicing to diagnostics and major repairs on all makes and models.
We’re looking for a senior-level, experienced Motor Mechanic with 5–7 years of hands-on workshop experience. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, completing high-quality repairs, and supporting the team when needed. This is a diverse role with plenty of independence and steady, reliable work.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced diagnostics and fault-finding
Carry out general repairs, servicing, and maintenance across all makes and models
Complete major mechanical work (engine, suspension, brakes, cooling systems, etc.)
Assist with mentoring junior staff if required
Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness
Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Roadworthy inspections (not essential, but highly regarded)
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
Strong diagnostic abilities and problem-solving skills
Confidence working independently and efficiently
High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
Reliable, honest, and professional attitude
Current driver’s licence
Additional certifications (AC licence, RWC inspector, etc.) are an advantage
