About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join the Bisko Bakehouse team in Kerang, Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in building and maintaining our brand presence across all social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to engage our community, drive brand awareness, and support our business objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase our artisanal bakery products and connect with our customers in meaningful ways.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, create, and manage engaging content across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms

• Plan and execute targeted social media campaigns that align with Bisko Bakehouse brand values and business goals

• Respond to customer enquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive community engagement

• Monitor social media analytics and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels

• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging social media platforms to keep Bisko Bakehouse at the forefront of digital marketing

• Create and curate visual content including photography, videography, and graphic design elements

• Manage social media advertising budgets and optimise paid campaigns for maximum return on investment

• Build and maintain relationships with influencers, brand partners, and other stakeholders in the community

• Develop monthly social media reports and present insights and recommendations to management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital marketing role for a minimum of 2-3 years

• Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple social media platforms and creating compelling, platform-specific content

• Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Creative mindset with the ability to develop original, engaging content ideas that resonate with target audiences

• Proficiency in graphic design software and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms

• Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and experience managing paid campaigns

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

• Passion for the food and beverage industry or bakery sector is highly desirable

• Experience with community management and customer engagement strategies

• Familiarity with influencer marketing and brand partnership development
