Fitness Trainer

As a Fitness Trainer in our Sports and Leisure directorate, you’ll be at the heart of our fitness operations. Your role will include:

• Engaging with clients to create exceptional fitness experiences
• Supervising gym activities and ensuring a safe and welcoming space
• Supporting group fitness programs and conducting fitness assessments
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities

You’ll work closely with team members and clients, providing expert guidance while helping us deliver high-quality services every day.

We’re after enthusiastic, community-minded fitness professionals who are ready to hit the ground running!
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum)
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates
• Proven experience in a similar role with strong skills in exercise programming and delivery
• Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

  • Package: $58,545 - $61,927 (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation. Salary will be paid pro rata to the part time hours worked.
  • Hours of work: Permanent Part Time Opportunities available. Candidates must be available as rostered over a 7-day spread across various Leisure Centres.

Suitable candidates are subject to pre-employment screening which includes Reference Checks, Work Rights Verification, Identity and Functional/Medical History Checks, and will also include a Criminal History, Qualification and Working with Children Check. Employment is subject to clearance of all these checks.
