Lead Storeperson

About Us

STG Global is one of Australia's leading manufacturers of specialised trucks and equipment, supplying customers across Australia and internationally. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands on Lead Storeperson to take ownership of our Ormeau Parts Store and support our growing production operations.

This is a key role responsible for managing the day-to-day warehouse and inventory function while working closely with Production, Purchasing and Service to ensure parts are available when needed.

About the Role

As the sole Storeperson on site, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the daily operation of the Parts Store and secure warehouse

• Receiving, processing, storing and issuing inventory

• Picking and kitting parts for production using Bills of Materials (BOMs)

• Picking, packing and shipping customer parts orders

• Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock control and warehouse organisation

• Conducting cycle counts, stocktakes, reconciliations and inventory investigations

• Supporting stock replenishment and purchasing activities

• Coordinating freight, loading and unloading vehicles and collecting urgent parts from suppliers

• Providing administrative support to the Production Manager

• Driving continuous improvement in warehouse, inventory and safety processes

• Supporting STG's Stapylton facilities, including the Kyokuto Production Facility and Holding Yard, as required

About You

You are an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a senior or lead Storeperson

• Strong inventory control, stock management and warehouse experience

• Experience with cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory reconciliation

• Good computer skills and experience using ERP or inventory systems

• Current forklift licence and driver's licence

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• The ability to work independently while supporting a small, high performing team
