Renewable Energy Technical Sales Specialist (Solar & Storage)

• Develop and manage a pipeline residential, strata and commercial clients.
• Lead multi-visit, consultative, design-led sales engagements from first contact to close.
• Assess client sites and energy needs and specify customised solar, storage and energy-efficiency solutions.
• Navigate the network-connection and regulatory requirements relevant to each sale.
• Prepare commercial proposals and tenders; negotiate and close.
• Manage accounts after sale, including handover and performance follow-up.
• Support and mentor junior sales staff as required.
• Experience and working knowledge of various NSW Government incentives/rebates in relation to both renewable energy (solar) and battery installation for both commercial and residential clients.
• Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services.

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrated ability to combine technical solution design with consultative B2B sales in a client-facing role.
• Sound working knowledge of renewable energy systems (solar PV and battery storage) and the associated network-connection, compliance and rebate frameworks.
• Strong consultative selling, account-management and commercial/financial-modelling skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stage sales cycles with commercial clients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor degree in a relevant field of study or at least five years' relevant experience in a related technical, commercial or advisory field; and
• At least 1-year relevant experience combining renewable energy system design and consultative sales.
• Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Design Accreditation or relevant industry accreditation is desirable.

Base salary: circa Range- AUD$135,000 -AUD $150,000 per annum plus superannuation (fixed base; no commission)
