Why You’ll Love This Role:

Our Nambour depot is looking for a proactive Operations Administrator to bring on board. If you enjoy both being out on a run, driving the trucks and then changing things up but jumping in to assist with the administration side of things you will thrive in this role. This is a permanent role, working Mon - Fri with the opportunity for overtime.

What You’ll Do:

• Allocate daily operational duties and resources

• Plan and coordinate loads to meet customer and operational requirements

• Operate vehicles when required to support business needs

• Prepare manifests and transport documentation

• Liaise with growers, drivers, and Southeast Queensland depots to ensure efficient freight movements

• Coordinate with key customers and manage urgent service escalations

• Conduct driver debriefs and review daily paperwork for accuracy and compliance

• Manage freight bookings, delivery schedules, and customer requests

• Provide operational support and work closely with depot staff to ensure seamless service delivery

• Assist the Administration Team and Depot Manager with daily administrative tasks and reporting requirements

• Maintain effective communication across operations to support service performance and customer satisfaction

What You Bring:

• HR licence to operate vehicles

• Industry knowledge - Transport or relevant industry experience will be highly regarded for this role.

• Warehousing Knowledge & Experience – Strong understanding of transport site operations, including transhipping requirements for efficient workflow.

• Decision-Making & Problem-Solving – Confidence to make quick, effective decisions under pressure

• Communication & Collaboration - Work closely with drivers, allocators, key stakeholders & customers to ensure seamless operations

• Transport Administration knowledge will be highly regarded
