💼 About the Role

As part of our friendly multidisciplinary team, you'll enjoy a varied and interesting caseload, including:

• Musculoskeletal sports and everyday injuries

• Workplace rehabilitation and occupational health

• Post-operative and surgical rehab

• Persistent pain management

• Neurological and paediatric presentations (optional and supported)

• Women's health (optional and supported)

Gradual Caseload Build-Up
You won't be thrown into the deep end — you'll begin with a manageable caseload and progress at a pace that feels safe and supported.

We understand the step from university to private practice can feel big — that's why we've designed a comprehensive support program to set you up for success.

Our New Graduate Mentorship Program Includes:

• Weekly 1:1 mentoring with senior clinicians

• Fortnightly in-house PD sessions

• Weekly multidisciplinary case reviews

• Shadowing opportunities with senior physios, exercise physiologists, and our specialist consultants

• Tailored learning plan to help you explore MSK, sports, women's health, occupational health, pain, neuro, S&C, and more

• Structured onboarding ensuring you feel prepared before managing an independent caseload

You'll always have someone to turn to, ask questions of, and brainstorm complex cases with.

Fortnightly mentoring for early graduates to focus on soft and technical skill development, clinical reasoning, case reflections. Weekly multi-disciplinary case reviews with team. Collaborative sessions for complex and challenging cases, or for ones you just need a bit of reassurance with.

• CPD Funding – annual 2K allowance provided for CPD funding so you can experience a wide range of learning opportunities. Scholarships also provided by Rural Health West.

• Diverse caseload – unique chance to work with a wide range of populations and presentations so that you can find your preferred area of practice.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team – enjoy learning and working alongside physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and nursing team with a diverse range of skills and expertise (musculoskeletal, pain, neurological, paediatrics, women's health, occupational health strength and conditioning / sports, sports development). Opportunities to sit in sessions with a leading orthopaedic consultant and specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist consultant.

• Access to a fully equipped rehab gym and Pilates equipment

👩‍⚕️ What We Need

• AHPRA registration

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

• Motivation to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive clinical culture

• Preference will be given to onshore or Australian-trained physiotherapists who are familiar with local healthcare systems and communication standards. Offshore applicants must be working through general registration through the standard APC pathway (not the HCPC-NZ pathway) for migration purposes.

• Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
