About the opportunity

Due to continued growth across our operations, we’re seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on Barrow Island.

Role Details:

• Dates: 8th to 22nd September & 6th to 16th October (applicants must be available for both swings)

• Project: Gorgon Fin Fan maintenance

• Hours of Work: 12-hour shifts

• Rate: $83 - $84 per hour

About you

You’re a safety-minded, team-focused professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and contributing to a strong site culture.

You’ll bring:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as Mechanical Fitter; live gas plant exposure or Oil & Gas industry experience

• Previous experience completing maintenance work on Fin Fans 

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

• Construction White Card

• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces

• Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)

• Ability to pass a project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen

• Genuine concern for safety and the wellbeing of your team

• A practical, hands-on mindset with the confidence to take initiative

• A collaborative spirit - you know that success is a team effort
