European Vehicle Technician / Senior Mechanic At Hoppers Service Centre Hoppers Crossing
Location: Hoppers Service Centre – Hoppers Crossing, VIC
Hoppers Service Centre is a growing, modern automotive workshop specialising in European and prestige vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs. We are looking for an experienced and motivated European Vehicle Technician to join our professional team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of European vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Porsche, and other prestige brands.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical problems and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience working on European vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Excellent vehicle inspection and reporting ability.
Ability to remove, replace and repair major mechanical components.
Experience performing engine replacements, engine rebuilds or major engine repairs.
Experience with timing chains, timing belts, cooling systems, suspension and transmission repairs.
Ability to use advanced diagnostic equipment.
Strong understanding of workshop safety and quality standards.
Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop.
Professional attitude with excellent work ethics.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid Australian driver’s licence.
Desirable Qualifications
Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) qualification (highly regarded).
Air-conditioning licence (ARCtick).
Roadworthy inspection experience.
Experience with ADAS calibration and modern vehicle technology.
