Full-time Safety Technician – Smoke Alarms & Property Compliance

About the role

BCMC Safety Solutions is a professional safety compliance company that works exclusively with the real estate industry providing market leading safety compliance inspections and services with our innovative software systems.

As a nationwide brand BCMC Safety Solutions is all about making properties safer and we have a great opportunity for a safety service and smoke alarm technician to join our Sydney team on a full time bases.

Using easy-to-use software, you'll complete a range of straightforward property safety and compliance checks. This is primarily a testing, checking and reporting role rather than a trade or heavy manual labour position. You'll be trained in exactly what to look for and how to complete each inspection.

Key responsibilities

• Smoke alarm testing and replacement

• Water efficiency checks

• Blind cord safety checks

• Air-conditioning filter cleaning

• Basic switchboard safety checks

• Enjoys working independently

• Confident driving throughout Sydney and remote areas

• Good time-management skills

• Friendly and professional when dealing with tenants and real estates

• Takes pride in their work and presentation

What you will need

• Comfortable using an iPhone and basic technology

• Basic practical skills and comfortable using simple tools

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Australian working rights

• Ability to obtain a National Police Check

• Comfortable travelling between residential properties throughout the working day
