Electrician

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Licensed Electrician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of switchboard upgrade and installation projects across a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail, and industrial sites.

Based primarily in the Sydney metropolitan area, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, switchboard upgrades, testing, and commissioning works.

As a site Electrician, you will be involved in a range of commercial and industrial electrical projects, with a strong focus on low-voltage switchboards and power distribution systems.

• Implement and take responsibility of onsite works.

• Carry out commercial and industrial electrical installation works.

• Complete outage and cutover pre-works for low-voltage main switchboard and distribution board upgrades.

• Install consumer mains and large sub-main cable systems.

• Conduct and run outage cutovers involving both local and substation isolations.

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and testing of low-voltage switchboards.

• Inspect, test, and commission low-voltage switchgear.

• Work safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

• Current Electrical Trades Licence.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

While training will be provided, candidates with experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

• Commercial and industrial electrical installations.

• Main switchboard and distribution board upgrades.

• Switchboard manufacturing and installation.

• Low-voltage switchgear testing and commissioning.

• Electrical maintenance and fault finding.

• Outage planning and switchboard cutovers.
