Join our diverse team as a Care Services Worker and embrace an exciting opportunity to work within our Glengara Care Apartments, located in Tumbi Umbi, Central Coast NSW. This casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else.

The position

We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents.

Reporting to the Care Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication assistance
• Complete cleaning and housekeeping duties across resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas
• Where required, assisting with meal preparation
• Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
• Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
• Social Support and Shopping assistance

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

• Good availability across weekends and afternoons essential
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport essential
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
