Informatech has been engaged to deliver a managed services contract providing development, testing, and support services for a suite of bespoke systems on behalf of a Federal Government Department.
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a small, high-impact development team supporting these critical systems, reporting to our onsite Software Development Lead. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to do meaningful work on systems that genuinely matter, while being part of a tight-knit team rather than a large, anonymous delivery pool.
What you'll be doingDesigning, developing, and maintaining bespoke software solutions across a suite of critical business systemsDelivering BAU maintenance, defect remediation, and feature enhancements as part of a small, close-knit development teamWorking across the full stack, including C#/.NET back-end development, SQL/T-SQL database work, and modern front-end technologiesContributing to system integration, automation, and interoperability initiatives across the health sectorParticipating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and client demosWriting clean, secure, well-tested, and maintainable code, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHubHelping identify and remediate technical debt, and contributing to ongoing system and process improvementsCollaborating closely with the QA/Test Lead and Software Development Lead to ensure delivery meets quality and release requirementsWhat you'll bringStrong hands-on experience across C#, .NET, SQL/T-SQL, and modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)A track record of delivering production-quality code in a professional software development environmentExperience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, including pipelines, repositories, and version control best practicesComfort working in agile teams, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviewsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex, bespoke systemsExperience operating in ISM-aligned, government, or other regulated environments highly regardedFamiliarity with Power Apps, Drupal/GovCMS, or mobile application development highly regardedExcellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a small team
ClearanceThis role requires a current NV1 security clearance and Australian citizenship.
