Gunnedah Shire Council is seeking reliable and enthusiastic casual staff members to join the team at the Cultural Precinct - a busy, multi-purpose venue that includes The Civic Cinema, Creative Arts Gallery, Town Hall, Smithurst Theatre and Visitor Information Centre, in the role of Technical Lighting and Sound Casual.
Our Next Technical Sound and Lighting Casual
Reporting to the Cultural Precinct Team Leader, this role is responsible for the operation of technical lighting and sound equipment, while providing exceptional customer service to cinema patrons, venue hirers, visitors to Gunnedah and members of the community who access the Cultural Arts Precinct.
Previous experience in lighting and sound operations is desirable; however, a strong interest in the technical aspects of the role, a willingness to learn, and availability to work evening and weekend shifts are essential.
Successful candidates will also be responsible for delivering high-quality front-of-house customer service, undertaking general housekeeping duties, and assisting with venue functions, performances and other activities held within the Cultural Arts Precinct.
