About the role
🎨 ART STUDIO ASSISTANT WANTED — MELBOURNE$50 per hour | Casual, flexible work
I am looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to assist with the preparation of large-scale fine-art paintings.
The work will include:
• Sanding and preparing surfaces• Applying primer and gesso• Preparing canvases and materials• Cleaning brushes, tools and studio surfaces• Organising art materials• General practical assistance in the studio
Experience with painting, art materials, furniture restoration, decorative finishes or similar practical work would be helpful, although careful attention to detail, reliability and the ability to follow instructions are most important.
This is a hands-on preparation and studio-support role. All materials and instructions will be provided.
Rate: $50 per hourLocation: MelbourneHours: Casual and flexible, by arrangement
