Receptionist

Reporting into the Central Administration Team Leader your role will be the first point of contact for our customers calling through to GT Insurance.  

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Provide a high standard of customer service and effective working relationships for all internal and external customers and service providers.  
• Fielding a high volume of customer calls approximately 60-80 calls per day.
• Actioning any tasks, distributing calls and messages to GT staff and teams.
• Coordinating travel bookings for all staff nationally. 
• Assist with organising onsite events, including room set up and coordinate catering. 
• Maintaining and ordering stationery supplies and facilitating uniform orders. 
• Arrange couriers and collect and distribute mail. 

Skills and Experience required: 

• Previous experience working in a high-volume Reception and/or customer service position is essential. 
• High attention to detail when managing emails, sharing customer information and distribution tasks to be actioned.  
• Clear, effective, and professional communication, both written and verbal is necessary.    
• Time management and planning skills and the ability to manage a busy working day with conflicting priorities.  
• Have a customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle customer complaints and demanding situations professionally.   
• Ability to travel to North Sydney office for 3 weeks initially to complete training.
