About the role

Tamarix Poultry Farm Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and professional Company Delivery Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Bangholme, VIC 3175 and is integral to ensuring our products reach customers safely and on time. As a Company Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our organisation, responsible for transporting goods efficiently whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards. This position offers flexibility with casual work arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking variable hours.

What you'll be doing

• Operating company vehicles to deliver poultry products and related goods to customers within allocated routes

• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on schedule

• Loading and unloading delivery items with care to maintain product quality and integrity

• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and records, including signatures and delivery confirmations

• Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or damage

• Providing professional and courteous customer service at each delivery point

• Following all traffic laws, company policies and safety protocols whilst operating vehicles

• Communicating effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle

What we're looking for

• Current, valid Australian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles you will be operating

• A clean driving record with no major traffic violations or suspensions

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transport role within the couriers, drivers or postal services sector

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently

• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanour

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexibly on a casual basis

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly

• Physical fitness to safely lift and carry goods of varying weights

• Knowledge of local roads and areas in and around Bangholme is advantageous

• Working with food products experience or food safety awareness is preferred
