Custody/ Banking and Payments Officer

Your PositionYou will be joining the growing Corporate Trustee Team who are currently providing trustee and custody services to wholesale managed investment schemes. The primary function of this role will be to review, coordinate and deliver the provision of timely and accurate custody services for a portfolio of funds on behalf of third-party fund managers.
Your ResponsibilitiesLiaison with multiple banks – assist with all key steps involved in the opening and closure of bank accounts (including form completion, AML and KYC) and any other bank related mattersPayments – review proper instructions and set up payments for items such as capital calls, distributions and fund expenses.Bank account reconciliationsDocument Custody – assistance with document execution and maintenance of document registers Set up, maintenance and reporting of Asset Registers and Safe Custody Document reportsMaintain and adhere to custody policies and procedures Participate in ongoing automation and improvement of systems and processesHandling client interactions and resolving queries with a focus on relationship buildingInvolvement in projects and other ad hoc duties as required
Your Profile4 years’ experience in a Payments, Back Office or Fund Operations roleRelevant qualification – preferably degree qualified in business, legal or accountingUnderstanding of the role of a Trustee Client management skills and relationship management experienceWorks well under pressure, delivers results and meets customer expectations Works collaboratively and enjoys working in a teamSelf-starter with good planning and organisational skillsHighly principled and able to resolve issuesFluent in English both verbally and in writingGood verbal and written communication skills
