An exciting opportunity with a privately QLD owned civil construction company who focus on delivering a range of projects within roads, structures, utilities, and urban projects. This contractor has a reputation as a reliable and fair contractor who maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and clients. 

We require a Civil Supervisor to work in Hervey Bay and surrounding regions on urban and civil infrastructure projects ranging anywhere up to $20M. With anticipation of future work on the Bruce Highway Safety Program, this will come into play, pending experience. This Supervisor will have experience on Main Roads – TMR, civils, bulk earthworks and urban. You will help ensure that daily production targets are met with demonstrable skills in daily and weekly planning, while ensuring a safe working environment. 

Reporting to the Project Manager, your duties will include:

• Planning for all resources included plant, labour, materials and subcontractors 
• Site management and construction of civil works 
• Manage direct and subcontract workforce
• Program management 
• Client and stakeholder dealings 
• Conduct pre starts and weekly toolboxes
• Ensure that all work is in compliance with workplace health and safety
• Monitor the activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules 

This role will suit an experienced Supervisor looking for a new challenge and keen on DIDO to Hervey Bay. If you are also looking to step away from the city lifestyle and relocate up North to a coastal town, this is welcomed and encouraged. 

We are ideally looking for a Civil Supervisor with over five years relevant civil infrastructure (earthworks, drainage & pavements) experience, across local Australian projects, including DTMR or similar. Ideal to have come up through the ranks, from Operator, Labourer, Leading Hand to Foreman/Supervisor.
