Front Desk – Dunlop & Yeronga Pool

We’re looking for a friendly, capable person to join our Front Desk team at Dunlop Park and Yeronga Park Swimming Complexes.

This is a busy, people-focused role where you’ll be helping families with bookings and enquiries, welcoming swimmers to the centre and keeping things running smoothly at reception.

You don’t need experience in the aquatic industry. We’re looking for someone who is great with people, reliable, organised and comfortable learning new systems. Previous reception, administration or customer service experience would be an advantage.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Helping customers with bookings, payments and general enquiries

• Answering phone and email enquiries

• Welcoming families and swimmers to the centre

• Updating customer information and bookings in our system

• General reception and administration tasks

• Helping things run smoothly during busy lesson times

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is friendly, approachable and confident with customers

• Communicates clearly in person, over the phone and by email

• Is organised and able to manage several things at once

• Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems

• Is reliable and works well as part of a team

• Enjoys working in a busy environment around children and families

• Has regular weekend availability

A current Blue Card is required, or you’ll need to be eligible to obtain one.

Shelly’s Swim School has been part of the Brisbane swimming community for more than 35 years. We’re a family-run business operating at Yeronga Park and Dunlop Park Swimming Complexes, with a great team and a large community of local families.
