Housekeeper / Family Assistant - Private Residence

The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, be highly reliable and able to work efficiently in a high-standard residence. This position requires a self-motivated professional who understands the demands of supporting a busy executive and their family.

About The Role

Housekeeping & Laundry:

• Perform daily cleaning of the residence

• Make and maintain beds to a high standard

• Manage all household laundry, including washing, folding and ironing

• Wardrobe organisation and management
  

Grocery Shopping & Stock Control:

• Maintain household inventory, ensuring all essential items are consistently stocked

• Undertake regular grocery shopping and restocking as required

Cooking & Meal Preparation:

• Assisting with simple meal prep and cooking healthy foods

• Strong understanding of hygiene for food preparation

Outdoor Maintenance:

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of decks and patio areas

• Manage household bins, including collection and upkeep

About You

• You're naturally organised, thrive on variety and genuinely enjoy being the person everyone relies on.

• Prior experience in private residences or superyachts

• Highly autonomous encompassing the ability to work independently without supervision.

• Organised and efficient as a natural systems thinker who loves structure, order and attention to detail.

• Capable of establishing your own clear systems with checklists and routines to support your success

• Resilient, adaptable and calm under pressure. You’re open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

• Trustworthy with absolute discretion and professionalism.

• Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) required.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting groceries, laundry baskets and performing active tasks throughout the day.

• Driver’s Licence and vehicle required for getting to and from the property, errands and occasional off-site tasks.

• Circa 27 hours per week, days and times can be discussed with the right candidate

• $45 - $50 per hour based on experience
