ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

At Shoes & Sox, we’re all about helping kids put their best foot forward, literally! As a Casual Retail Assistant at Shoes & Sox Frankston, you'll be the friendly face greeting customers, the expert fitting little feet with the perfect shoes, and the all-around team player keeping our store running smoothly. Whether it’s a child’s first pair or their next adventure shoes, you'll make it a moment to remember.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Delivering friendly, personalised customer service to create a positive shopping experience
• Helping customers find the right shoes, fit and styles to suit their needs
• Assisting families and children with product selection, sizing and fit
• Processing sales, handling payments and assisting with day-to-day store operations
• Maintaining high visual merchandising standards and keeping the store clean, organised and well presented
• Replenishing stock, organising displays and ensuring products are readily available
• Working collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer service goals
• Being flexible and available to work weekends, public holidays and busy seasonal periods

ABOUT YOU

• A friendly, people-focused person who enjoys helping kids and families
• Naturally positive, approachable and confident when interacting with customers
• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and can-do attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and getting stuck in
• Great communication skills and a genuine interest in providing excellent customer service
• Retail experience is a bonus, but we’re happy to train the right person
