Senior Manager, Performance & Operational Strategy

What’s the role?

As Senior Manager, Performance & Operational Strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how performance is measured, reported and improved across Virtual Banking. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Operational Strategy, you'll lead the end-to-end performance management and governance framework, ensuring leaders have accurate, timely and actionable insights to make informed decisions and drive business outcomes. 

You'll be responsible for developing executive reporting, operational scorecards, KPIs and OKRs, while providing strategic analysis and performance insights across internal and partner operations. Working closely with stakeholders across Workforce Planning, Finance, Operations, Customer Experience, Risk and Supplier Management, you'll identify opportunities to improve productivity, customer outcomes and operational effectiveness. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and continuous improvement of executive and operational reporting, performance dashboards and governance frameworks.
• Delivering strategic performance analysis, business insights and recommendations to support decision-making and future planning. 
• Establishing and governing scorecards, KPIs and OKRs to drive accountability and business performance.
• Supporting workforce governance, planning and capacity discussions to optimise operational outcomes. 
• Overseeing partner performance frameworks, governance forums and reporting obligations. 
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven insights and evidence-based recommendations.

What will I need?

We're looking for a commercially minded leader with strong analytical capability and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful business outcomes. You'll be highly influential, naturally collaborative and comfortable working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. 

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Significant experience in performance management, operational strategy, workforce planning, business performance or analytics roles. [ 
• Experience developing executive reporting, scorecards, KPIs and OKRs to drive performance outcomes. 
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. 
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders. 
• Expertise in reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Excel and other analytics platforms. 
• Strategic thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to connect operational performance to broader business objectives. 
• A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related discipline. 
• Experience within large-scale operational, service or contact centre environments will be highly regarded.
