Foreperson/Sub Foreman

About the Role

Proline is looking to engage Foreperson and Sub Foreperson, which you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality construction and fit out, ensuring they are completed on time, safely and to the highest standards. Based in Mortlake, NSW, this full-time role is ideal for an experienced people with a strong background in construction and fit out projects .

You will be in a great team responsible delivering the project from commencement to completion and handover. Your site experience in all facets of a project with a strong focus on safety, supervision of site personnel, problem-solving skills will be critical in driving project success while maintaining strong relationships with contractors, site team and upholding our company's reputation for excellence.

This role involves Class 2 apartment projects, offering a dynamic and varied work environment. Whether leading construction or fit out, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each project meets client expectations and industry standards. The successful applicant should have appropriate project experience with project values up to $40M.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities on site

2. Assisting site manager to ensure smooth operation on site, work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and schedules

3. Coordinate with trades, subcontractors, and suppliers

4. Ensure compliance to WHS/Enviro policies, legislation and codes of practice are followed. SWMS and site procedures are maintained.

1. Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks

2. Maintain site documentation is followed and maintained

3. Review and follow construction drawings and specificationsr

4. This is a working hands on role

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role, demonstrating a track record of successfully delivering Class 2 projects.

• Experience on projects with values up to $40M.

• Strong ability to lead, coordinate, and supervise.

• Qualifications in carpentry trade and or diploma or similar. though not essential.

• Demonstrated experience and application in WHS compliance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, maintaining efficiency and quality.

• Experience working on Class 2 residential apartment projects an advantage

• Strong in communication and drive
