Finance and Payroll Officer

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to work across payroll, financial, management and bookkeeping functions.

• Process end to end fortnightly payroll and related compliance obligations.

• Complete end to end accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including, invoice processing, statement reconciliation, queries and debtor management.

• Contribute to month-end and year-end reconciliations, inter-company transactions, financial reporting, and any other general finance administration.

• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

• Ensure compliance with and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and relevant statutory compliance, including the ability to confidently interpreting relevant Awards and apply Fair Work legislative requirements.

• Assist and co-ordinate with ad-hoc ICT-related support.

About You

• Recognized accounting qualification and minimum two years' experience in a payroll or finance position.

• A proactive, hands-on work ethic, an eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.

• Experience with Microsoft suite and particularly MS Excel. Power BI knowledge is an advantage.

• Outstanding organisational, time management skills with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities and projects at one time.
