National Retail Sales Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced National Retail Sales Manager to join our Retail Leadership Team and take ownership of a key retail portfolio across our network. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role where you'll spend the majority of your time in stores, working alongside leaders and store teams to drive sales, maximise profitability and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the General Manager Retail, you'll act as the GM Retail's right-hand person for sales - turning performance insights into action, strengthening leadership capability and helping translate national priorities into results across Australia, New Zealand and new markets.

This opportunity will suit a senior multi-state retail leader who is ready to broaden their impact, step into a national remit and continue being coached and developed as they grow their leadership capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Performance

• Own sales, profit, wages and and store performance across the DECJUBA retail portfolio.
• Drive key retail metrics including LFL sales, conversion, average dollar, UPT and full-price performance.
• Use sales and customer insights to identify opportunities, risks and clear commercial actions.

People & Leadership

• Work alongside leaders and store teams to lift performance and build commercial confidence.
• Strengthen leadership capability, accountability and succession across the retail network in partnership with the PX team.
• Set clear expectations and coach leaders to deliver consistently.

Customer & Store Execution

• Drive a consistent and engaging DECJUBA customer experience across your portfolio.
• Partner with VM, Merchandise, Marketing and Store Experience to bring key priorities to life in stores.
• Maintain strong execution across stock, rostering, loss prevention, safety and operational standards.

National Retail Leadership

• Partner closely with the GM Retail to deliver national trading priorities and key results.
• Bring the voice of our leaders, store teams and customers into broader business decisions.
• Lead key retail projects and initiatives from opportunity through to execution.
• Represent the Retail function when required.

ABOUT YOU

You're an experienced retail leader who combines commercial capability with strong people leadership and loves being close to the customer, the team and the trade. You'll bring:

• Significant experience leading a large, multi-state retail store portfolio.
• A strong track record of delivering sales, profit and performance outcomes.
• Commercial confidence and the ability to turn performance data into practical action.
• A clear coaching style that builds capability, ownership and accountability.
• The credibility to influence senior stakeholders and contribute to broader retail strategy.
• Strong judgement, communication and prioritisation skills.
• Fashion, apparel or specialty retail experience will be highly regarded.
• Flexibility to travel regularly across Victoria, interstate and New Zealand.
