BDS Mechanical is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in a full-time, permanent role servicing the Mackay and Bowen Basin regions. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new business opportunities for our workshops, parts sales and our field service technicians (transport and mining)
• Use specialist knowledge to interpret customer requirements via phone or in person
• Provide effective and efficient customer service and product advice
• Creating and maintaining strong customer relations
• Execute and influence the company's long-term growth strategy and goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of and experience with truck, trailer, mining, and automotive products and services
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Must be willing to travel and for extended periods of time.
• Experience in a similar role
• Unrestricted drivers license
