Position: Store Person / Yard Hand       
Location: Dry Creek, South Australia
Type: Casual (with view to permanent)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Store Person / Yard Hand to oversee the operations of our warehouse facility, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics coordination. This is a hands on role to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with dispatch teams, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of equipment and materials.

·       Oversee inventory management systems and ensure accurate stock control and record keeping.

·       Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and project requirements.

·       Monitor and maintain warehouse health and safety standards, including WHS compliance.

·       Implement efficient warehouse processes to maximise productivity and minimise costs.        

·       Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance schedules.

·       Adhere to all Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards and promote a culture of safety.

What We're Looking For:

·       Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a similar role.

·       Proven experience in inventory management and stock control systems.

·       Strong leadership and team management skills.

·       Forklift license essential.

·       Current Driver's License (Unrestricted HR License highly regarded)

·       Excellent communication and organisational skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.

·       Knowledge of the electrical industry (highly regarded)

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
