Your new role:
As The Director Of Clinical Performance And Business Analytics, You Will Provide Strategic Leadership In Driving Data-informed Decision Making, Performance Optimisation And Analytics Maturity Across Metro South Health. You Will
Lead the Clinical Performance and Business Analytics team, championing innovative approaches to performance analysis, business intelligence, benchmarking and reporting.Provide strategic leadership to strengthen organisational analytics capability and data maturity, supporting improved clinical and operational performance outcomes.Partner with senior leaders and clinical stakeholders to integrate activity, costing, funding, performance measures and local service agreements to drive accountability and performance improvement.Establish and oversee a strategic and business planning framework that connects organisational priorities with measurable performance outcomes and on-the-ground service delivery.
About You
We are looking for a strategic leader who can translate complex healthcare data and performance insights into meaningful action and improved organisational outcomes. You will bring:
Strong strategic leadership and business planning capability, with a proven ability to develop and implement performance management frameworks, solve complex problems and translate strategic priorities into measurable operational outcomes.Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with clinicians, executives, professional groups and government stakeholders to achieve strategic priorities.Senior management experience within a healthcare environment, with demonstrated expertise in using performance, activity, costing and benchmarking data to identify opportunities for improved clinical care, service efficiency and organisational performance.Advanced expertise in health analytics, Activity Based Funding and business intelligence, complemented by experience leading reporting functions, developing performance dashboards and translating complex data into clear, evidence-based insights to support executive decision-making. Experience with contemporary platforms such as Power BI, data automation, artificial intelligence and modern data practices will be highly regarded.
