Busy family with 3 school-age children is seeking an energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented Household Manager/ Nanny.

ROLE DETAILS
Location: Hawthorn East, VIC
Pay: $35 / hr
Days: Mondays - Fridays
Hours: 20-30 hours per week depending on the individual
Time slots: 7:30am - 3pm (option to pick a 3 hour block that suits) and 3:00pm-5:30pm (this is a fixed block of time we need; however, there may be options to be flexible on 1-2 days for the right applicant).
Children: 7 year old (boy), 9 year old (boy), and 14 year old (girl)
Start: Sept 14th (though can be slightly flexible for the right person).
Important: Non-smoker, non-vaper

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This active and busy family is seeking the support of a part-time home manager/nanny. This role encompasses cooking and home-related tasks and occasional care of the children (who are all in school throughout the week). They've had previous long-term nannies and are seeking their new best fit! They need someone who understands and thrives on the energy of a busy home - able to proactively manage what needs to get done, and eager to engage actively with all 3 children.

The right person for this position will be energetic and organised. The family needs help managing the children's after school activities. A drivers licence is essential, and a car will be provided to drive the children. The family has a regular cleaner, so the typical household tasks of this role will include:
- cooking family meals - candidate must be a decent cook and able to follow specific recipes for food intolerances
- household laundry including handwashing
- walking dog - must be good with / like dogs
- keeping the home stocked with necessary groceries/supplies
- helping the family to maintain a tidy and organised home (cleaning up toys, cleaning up kitchen, organising pantry, taking out rubbish etc).
- other tasks that would be an extension of the parents - eg organising packing for trips etc.
- taking kids to and from afterschool activities

ABOUT THE FAMILY
These hard working parents are busy and creative. Despite the wide range of ages and interests, the children are all playful and passionate. They respond well to a relaxed and friendly person who can also maintain the necessary boundaries around expectations. An active family, they enjoy spending time together - whether that be outings with their dog and/or friends, or travelling locally and abroad (they have a house on the Mornington Peninsula where they will request the nanny to work some weeks during school holidays).
