Subway Manager (Acton ACT)

Positions: 1 Manager

Job Location: Australian National University campus

ROLE  

• Day-to-day Subway operation 

• Determining special promotions, stock levels and service standards 

• Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices 

• Depending on market trends, holiday periods and special events. 

• Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services 

• Maintaining records of stock levels and managing financial transactions 

• Discuss business strategy with the head office and undertake budgeting for the store 

• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations 

• Train team (employees) in business standards and policies. 

SALARY   

Package Salary $72,800 ($65,000 + 12% Super)  or Part-time equivalent based on skill and experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Experience working in the fast food industry (Subway/manager or supervisor experience will be given preference)  

• Positive, energetic and hardworking 

• Good customer service skills 

• Basic computer knowledge 

• Flexibility with working hrs  (note: at least 1-morning shift, 1-night shift and 1-weekend shift is a must) 

• Team building ability 

• Ability to work under pressure

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA 

• You must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. 

• Must have a driver's licence. 

• You must provide a Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment. 

• At least 2 years of people management experience is a must. 

• You must provide a Food Safety Supervisor certificate. 

• You must have experience working towards targets and KPIs. 

• You must have at least 2 years of Fast Food Restaurant Manager experience. 

• You must have 2 years of Fast Food Attendant experience.
