About the role
Approximately 6-Month Project | 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Central West NSW
Contract/Temporary – Multiple Positions Available
Powerflow Pipelines is building two crews for an upcoming pipeline installation project in Central West NSW.
We are seeking experienced operators, skilled labourers and reliable team members who take pride in working safely and contributing to a productive crew.
We are recruiting:
Poly Welders
Excavator Operators
Dogmen
Pipeline and Civil Labourers
General Labourers
We require a mix of skills across each crew. Applicants do not need to hold every ticket listed.
Depending on your experience, duties may include:
operating excavators and other authorised plant;
assisting with excavation, trenching and pipeline installation;
dogging and supporting lifting activities;
general civil and pipeline labouring;
site preparation, materials handling and clean-up;
vegetation clearing and chainsaw work where appropriately trained;
following site safety procedures, SWMS and supervisor directions; and
working as part of a team to meet daily safety, quality and productivity requirements.
Applicants should have:
a current Australian driver’s licence;
a current Construction White Card;
relevant licences, tickets or VOCs for the work being performed;
a current High Risk Work Licence for dogging, where applying as a Dogman;
demonstrated experience operating an excavator, where applying as an Excavator Operator;
the physical capacity to undertake outdoor and manual work;
reliable attendance and availability for a 7 days on / 7 days off roster;
a practical, safety-focused approach; and
the ability to work cooperatively and follow reasonable site directions.
The following will be viewed favourably:
current Cadia mine site induction;
pipeline, civil construction, mining or infrastructure experience;
current First Aid Certificate;
chainsaw ticket or verified competency;
additional plant tickets or VOCs; and
experience working within structured site safety and permit systems.
