Support Worker - Melbourne / Geelong

About us

Constantly Training is a small, growing NDIS provider doing things a little differently. We're run by support workers, not a faceless head office, so we understand the reality of the work. Our director does support work alongside our participants, which means we know each person we support personally, and we know our team.

We're deliberately staying small. Our aim isn't to scale up and lose the personal touch, it's to deliver genuinely high-quality, person-centred support with a close-knit team who care.

We're currently growing our team across Melbourne and Geelong, and we're especially keen to hear from people who love working with young people and adults to build confidence, independence and community connection.

Who you'd be supporting

Every person we support is different, which is why the right attitude and a good personal match matter so much to us. Some of the people we're looking to support right now include:

• A young man in the Geelong area working towards community connection, employment and building confidence socially
• A man in his 60s in Fitzroy wanting support to get out into the community and attend appointments
• A young man in the Tullamarine area who's passionate about sport and fitness, and keen to build his independence at home, cooking, healthy eating and daily living skills (bonus points if you enjoy talking AFL, tennis or the races!)
• A woman in her 60s in Brunswick who needs a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental person to support her to appointments
• A man in his 40s in Fitzroy North with an established support team, working on staying active and managing day-to-day life

If you have a genuine interest in fitness, community, mental health awareness or simply helping people live fuller, more independent lives, you'll fit right in.

What makes us different

• We pay you for admin time before and after your shifts, so your notes, emails and prep get done properly, on the clock, not in your own unpaid time
• 12% superannuation on all hours
• A real team-based approach, with a director who knows every participant and works alongside you

About you

You genuinely care about helping people live more independent, connected lives and you back people to do things for themselves, rather than doing everything for them. You're reliable, patient, communicate well, and can build genuine rapport.

Minimum requirements:

• A current driver's licence and a reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain before starting)
• A National Police Check (or willingness to apply)
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or willingness to apply)
• The right to work in Australia

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience supporting young people and/or adults with disability
• Interest or background in fitness, community access or mental health
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Disability (or equivalent)

Most of all, the right attitude matters more to us than a long resume.
