About the Role

Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Team Leader to lead the delivery of high-quality frontline technology services across the School.

Working closely with the IT Services and Operations Manager and the broader Information Technology team, you will lead the Service Desk and AV team, provide high-level technical support, and contribute to technology projects, operational improvements and the ongoing development of the School's technology services.

About You

We are seeking an experienced IT service delivery leader who combines technical capability with strong leadership and customer service skills.

In this role, you will bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
• At least three years' experience in a comparable technical support or senior Service Desk role
• Demonstrated experience leading, coordinating or supervising a technical support or Service Desk team
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
• Experience supporting Windows and Apple desktop operating systems, as well as iOS, Android and other mobile platforms
• Experience with Entra ID/Active Directory, Microsoft Intune and MDM platforms, including device configuration and management
• An understanding of IT service management principles, established processes and standard operating procedures
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external providers
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy environment
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing IT team while also working independently and demonstrating initiative.
