As part of a national brand, we are a well-respected, Financial Planning Practice, based in Deakin, Canberra, which provides highly tailored, financial advice to clients, both locally and interstate.
About The Role:
Working in our offices in Deakin, as part of our close knit team of Client Service Officers, we are seeking a highly organised and personable Client Relations Officer to support our financial advisory team. This role is primarily client-facing and will assist advisers by managing client engagement, review meeting coordination, new client onboarding, and pre-meeting preparation.
You will be the first point of contact for many client interactions and play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience.
About The Right Person:
We will provide training, however previous experience in a Financial Planning firm or professional services is highly regarded. In return we are seeking someone who is well presented and articulate, with a professional “can-do” attitude and appearance, who is pro-active, friendly and outcome-focused.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule ongoing client review meetings to ensure adviser calendars remain full and organised.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding appointments, enquiries, and service requests.
Manage new client enquiries and assist with client onboarding processes.
Allocate incoming client requests and opportunities to the appropriate adviser.
Prepare meeting documentation, file notes, OSA documentation, and other pre-meeting requirements.
Follow up outstanding information requests and maintain proactive communication with clients and advisers.
Ensure client records and CRM information are accurate and up to date.
Work closely with advisers to identify upcoming client needs and service opportunities.
Assist with diary management, meeting confirmations, and appointment reminders.
Contribute to maintaining a high standard of client service and client satisfaction.
Skills & Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence speaking with clients over phone, email, and in person.
Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
High attention to detail.
Experience within financial planning, banking, insurance, or professional services is highly regarded.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
