About the role
Sky tanking Australia is seeking Into-Plane Operator (Refueller) to join our team at Sydney International Airport. We currently have part-time role available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently refuelling aircraft, playing a crucial part in supporting the smooth operation of flights, being an integral member of our operations team, and contributing to the success of our operations.

What you will be doing

• Safely and accurately refuel arriving aircraft using specialised aviation fuel trucks and equipment

• Monitor and maintain appropriate fuel levels, ensuring aircraft have sufficient fuel for their onward journeys

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and minimise environmental impact

• Collaborate with other ground crew to coordinate the refuelling process and minimise aircraft turnaround times

• Maintain detailed records of all refuelling activities and report any issues or discrepancies

• Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years' experience as an Into-Plane Operator or similar role in the aviation industry (desirable)

• A valid NSW Class C driver's licence and experience operating large commercial vehicles

• HR Licence (desirable)

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, with the ability to follow procedures precisely

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively as part of a team

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

• A passion for the aviation industry and a desire to contribute to the efficient operation of flights

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for the physical demands of the role
