About the role
Support the safe, compliant maintenance of a life-saving aeromedical EC-145 fleet.Contribute to a fleet that keeps RFDS WA's aircraft mission-ready around the clock.Full-time position based at Jandakot with free onsite parking.
About the teamRFDS WA Engineering keeps a fleet of 17 Pilatus PC-12 (plus the new PC-12 PRO), 3 PC-24 jets and 2 EC145 helicopters flying safely and reliably from our bases at Jandakot and regional maintenance sites in Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra and soon Geraldton. In this role, you will perform LAME duties primarily on our EC-145 fleet
About the role Carry out assigned maintenance and repair tasks as a LAME, in line with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, approved data and company procedures.Report defects, occurrences and any items affecting maintenance planning or schedulingMaintain accurate technical records and keep your work area safe, tidy and well organised.
About youLAME B2 and or B1 ideally with EC-145 licence qualificationsSound regulatory knowledge relevant to the role and its responsibilities.Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work across engineering teams.Basic computer skills, including confidence entering technical data into maintenance systems.A safety-first mindset and a solutions-focused approach to your work.
This role is a Safety-Sensitive Aviation Activity under RFDS WA's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan and requires a police check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
